“Tweefort takes another step in its evolution” — The New Haven Register, Feb. 19, 2010

Indie label, Tweefort Records — New Haven, CT’s premiere promoter of all things pop — from power, twee, to psych (and beyond whatever genre you can think of) celebrates the release of their brand new compilation record, Home and Abroad Songs – Vol. 2 this Friday evening with a free show. This amazing label is both adventurous and charitable — releasing free digital singles, EP’s, and compilations of regional and international indie bands …Hartford Examiner, Feb. 17, 2010

Tweefort is a music and art collective which hails from New Haven Connecticut. Dan and Aileen started Tweefort in 2009 with a mission. Reviews of first three releases from Tweefort Records, Chariots of Tuna, The Fictional West and Women’s Basketball, in The California Chronicle, by way of The New Haven Register — Jan. 22, 2010

Many of these songs have actually been released elsewhere on albums and singles, but I was still introduced to a number of good new bands … A fine collection of songs, and a good start for the label! — Review of “Home & Abroad Songs Vol.1″ on IndiePages blog, Jan. 21, 2010.

Connecticut doesn’t usually come to mind when you think of indiepop epicenters, and “Home and Abroad Songs” shows that while it might not be at the top of the list, the CT kids show they can hold their own. Sugar Sours blog, Sept. 7, 2009
